Jackie sought to create a branding plan that would resonate with new customers, while reflecting her personality and overall ethos. For years, Jackie has served as a private CNA and is expanding her business, adding on postpartum doula services, birth plans, postpartum plans, placenta encapsulation, and belly casting.
Jackie’s branding plan includes an understanding of her potential customers - crucial for marketing purposes. Her website copy includes writing for her homepage, about, services, and contact pages. Mama Bear Health Care is now clear on its mission, vision, and values statements, as well, giving Jackie confidence as she talks about her business and grows in the local market. Like many non-profit organizations, the Wildlife Clinic sought increased funding to meet the public's demand for their services. Together, we introduced "The Wildlife Club," a loyalty giving program. This program raised over $20,000 in a matter of weeks, and continues to grow.
In addition to strategy formation, the Clinic received webpage copywriting, an email marketing series centered on storytelling, the creation of a Club logo in partnership with a graphic designer, new member onboarding process, and new member event plan. The University of Washington sought to explore the effect of a 6-week online program of yogic breathing, meditation, and gentle postures for parents of infants hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
I designed and produced a yoga therapy based curriculum, and classes were reviewed and approved by Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty. Consideration was greatly given to education, proper movement, pacing, tone, and wording to ensure that all participants felt seen, cared for, understood, and safe. The study has since shown favorable results and has been published in the American Journal of Perinatology.
Foster Forward, a long-time client, was ready to relaunch their website. Working alongside a graphic designer, we worked to update their website layout and creative intentional navigation sections. I then edited each page of their former website and rewrote sections to better serve their constituents.
Further, we launched an email newsletter series, centered on storytelling, and created a blog that lives on their site. You can read samples of these articles here, here, and here. Click the image to read their website and poke about!
